Ryan Louw is the founding Chief Executive Officer and Chief Pilot for Skyhorse Aviation™. Ryan has been involved in the commercial aviation industry for over 13years and is an experienced bush pilot having worked in over 30 countries throughout Africa, the Middle East and Australia. Prior to the establishment of Skyhorse Aviation, he served as Chief Pilot for a South African-based helicopter company specialising in heli-borne exploration throughout Africa, the Middle East and Australia. There, he oversaw over 20 pilots ensuring production levels and safety standards were consistently upheld. Ryan’s hands-on experience in helicopter operations across Africa brings invaluable know-how to the company.
SAFETY & QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
Megan Sparrow has been the Flight Operations Manager and Safety Officer at NRGExploration since 2007. As well as being responsible for the day-to-day administration of aircraft and crew, she also has first-hand experience with the logistical complications that come with operating in remote African environments. Megan is always looking for ways to better our safety systems. Her experience in the field of safety and her no-compromise attitude are essential to Skyhorse Aviation™ safety standards.
RESPONSIBLE PERSON: FLIGHT OPERATIONS
Ollie Wright, known as one of the pioneers of airborne geophysics, has been involved in geophysical exploration since 1980. He has been the CEO of New Resolution Geophysics (NRG™) www.airbornegeophysics.com since 2006.
Prior to that he was a Director in GEO DASS from 1983-2000 and then Managing Director of Fugro Airborne Surveys from 2000-2005. Ollie began flying in 1990 and has in excess of 6000 flying hours. Ollie’s wealth of experience as a helicopter pilot, operator and owner is incomparable.
Tamarin Bond has been involved in the financial side of aviation for over 10 years . Prior to assuming the position of financial manager at Skyhorse Aviation™, Tamarin oversaw the acquisition of several aircraft at NRG™ Exploration. Her experience in aviation includes human resource management, logistical planning, quality assurance, maintenance of aircraft parts and control of stock inventories as well as a flight administration function.
